Wandering on a backstreet near the market, I noticed this huge tower. Just liked the image. Made me think of the Leaning Tower of Pisa (but not leaning and not as nice.)This shrine is a large Catholic church in Lapu-Lapu City. It is notable in that it is one of the few churches in the world dedicated to the Black Madonna. It is a hive of community activity every day.This is a beauiful shot of Ayala Mall in Cebu. I have not found out what kind of tree this is, but I see many of these huge trees around Cebu. They form a nice, cool canopy that protects the customers from the blazing sun.
